Plot Overview:
President Hassan’s moves to quash any dissenters in his country starts to draw concern with President Taylor and other members of the United Nations. Kevin Wade starts to push Dana to the breaking point, forcing her to help him get into an NYPD evidence lock-up for a huge score. Josef has had success in treating his radiation-poisoned brother Oleg, but the treatment is cut short by their father, who is furious. Renee gets the plan back on track to acquire the uranium, but not without a demand by Vladimir, who also, without Renee’s knowledge, has plans for the buyer, Jack.

Plot Overview:
Assisting the UN evacuation, Cole Ortiz narrowly saves President’s Hassan’s life from the planted explosion by the rogue cop. Ortiz chases the cop back into the UN where he is taken hostage, however Jack kills the cop. Tattoos on the dead cop trace him to a Russian Mob who is believed to be the main group orchestrating the President Hassan hit. CTU realizes that Renee Walker worked undercover to infiltrate the same Russian mob, where she is recruited by CTU to find out new leads tracing to this mob, over Jack’s objections to have Walker do this without his help. CTU realizes that the cop was exposed to Uranium, something which President Hassan may know about the link to possible nuclear weapons and today’s events.

Plot Overview:
Jack Bauer discovers two murdered victims, a police officer and his wife, while investigating the assassination plot against President Hassan. The police officer’s murder was orchestrated by President Hassan’s brother in order to infiltrate the UN security detail. Meanwhile Dana is confronted by a mysterious figure from her past and he forces himself back into her life by threatening to expose a secret she is hiding from C.T.U. President Hassan confirms the rumors the he is having an affair with reporter, Meredith Reed, and provides a personal assurance that she is not involved in the plot against him. A meeting between President Taylor and President Hassan is intruded by false bomb threat and the evacuation detail is attacked by an underground explosion, hitting President Hassan’s motorcade.

Plot Overview:
Jack agrees against his better judgment to go back and be debriefed at CTU. Meanwhile, Dana discovers a lead named Meredith Reed, the reporter having an affair with Hassan, after incriminating files were found on her computer in her apartment. However, Chloe thought this was too easy of a discovery and thinks that whoever is behind the assassination set these files on her computer to divert CTU elsewhere. She tells Jack to talk to Hastings because he won’t listen to her but Jack says no because he wants to go to LA with Kim. When Kim gets to CTU she convinces Jack to stay until the conflict is solved which he does. He then takes weapons and follows up on Chloe’s lead named Davros, the same man who shot the helicopter with the rocket launcher.
